Psychic Detective

A psychic is a person who is endowed with extra sensory perceptions or psi abilities. It is a divine gift, which cannot be explained in terms of the laws of physical science, as the psychic energy transcends both space and time. A psychic has a superfine and heightened intuition. The law enforcement agencies utilize the energy of the psychics to investigate those crimes, which their ace detectives fail to crack.

In most of the investigative cases, a psychic detective uses himself as a medium and goes into trance, where he may actually see the culprit committing the crime, or he may communicate with the spirits to detect the culprit. A gentleman psychic named Hurkos from Netherlands developed this ability in the year 1941 at the age of 30. He could locate the criminal by merely touching an object associated with that person. He visited the US in 1956, remained there till 1969 and became a celebrity psychic detective who helped several Hollywood stars. He solved 27 notorious cases of murders in 17 countries. One of the high profile cases, that he helped to solve related to the murder of 13 elderly women between June 14, 1962, and January 4, 1964 committed by a serial killer named Boston Strangler.

Another forensic psychic or criminal profiler was Allison DuBois who helped the FBI. She also wrote a book ‘Do not Kiss Them Good-bye’. It was reported that she could see through the eye of the perpetrator of the crime. Her psychic abilities were tested at the Human Energy Systems Laboratory by University of Arizona professor, Dr. Gary E. Schwartz, who wrote the Foreword to her book. According to Schwartz Allison, DuBois was tested in several experiments and she was found to be highly accurate and specific in her answers.
Noreen Renier 57, one of the most renowned psychic detectives in the world, has in the past few years also been featured on other national TV programs such as "Geraldo," the "Joan Rivers Show," ABC's "Incredible Sunday," and CBS's "48 Hours," as well as in the December 5, 1988, US News & World Report.
